Still we are sticking to 16 hours! He did say he may still need another tendon snipping down the road as he feet only dorsiflex to neutral. But he said that may improve once he starts walking. I am so happy to have found this board and learn that we were receiving improper treatment and make the switch. There is no doubt in my mind that we were on the road to major surgery with the first doctor. PS: So funny that he crawls so much better with the bar on! He is really a spaz without it. Guest guest
That is great ! Isn't funny when they crawl without the bar?? Christian still moves his hips like he has the bar on when he doesn't. It's hysterical! Guest guest
That's great! I have a question though...when a doctor says 'Nights only' are they also giving you the corresponding number of hours? I ask because all children are so different in their sleeping patterns, ie., some may sleep for 14 hours straight through (these ones are rare!), some are 12 hour sleepers and then again, some are 10 hours or less. So, how many hours is 'nights only'? Thanks, Daiga and Owen, 02/04/03 Unilateral LCF, FAB 14/7 (12hours @night + 2hours @nap) > > We saw Dr. Herzenberg and he told us to join the nights only club! Guest guest
Hi Daiga, When Dr. Herzenberg said nights only he meant 12 hours. We are being overly cautious though and also putting then on for naps( an additional 3-4 hours). > > > > We saw Dr. Herzenberg and he told us to join the nights only club! > I > > told him we were going to be over cautious and do 16 hours and he > was > > fine with that.
