question about tubing for chewing

" My question is about my son, almost 2, who is constantly mouthing and chewing

just about anything he can get his hands on. I want to try some tubing, tied in

knots, for him to chew. Do you know anything about vinyl or plastic as far as

gluten goes? "

Someone emailed me this morning with the above question and I don't have an

answer, although I know it has been discussed here before. If anyone has an
