Guest guest
Hi- This is a question on a topic I've seen discussed a lot. As far as I can tell, Brett doesn't have an adverse reaction to topical gluten (he uses playdoh occasionally at school and OT with no problems), but I'd like to cut it out wherever I can. My question has to do with shampoos, soaps, etc.- What ingredient is the problem that we should be avoiding? The shampoo I've been using on him has: Water Sodium Laureth Sulfate Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate PEG-30 Glyceryl Cocoate PEG-200 Hydrogenated Glyceryl Palmate PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate Disodium Ricinoleamido MEA-Sulfosuccinate Fragrance Sodium Laureth-8 Sulfate Disodium EDTA Polyquaternium-10 Sodium Methylparaben Sodium Oleth Sulfate DMDM Hydatoin Magnesium Laureth Sulfate Magnesium Laureth-8 Sulfate Magnesium Oleth Sulfate Apricot Extract Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate D&C Yellow #10 What IS all this stuff? This is a kids' " extra mild " shampoo, but the only ingredients I know are OK are the water and apricot extract. Are there any red flags in the above list? Thanks!
