Guest guest Posted January 25, 2004 Report Share Posted January 25, 2004 Hey There Jodi! Oh, I've been around...read messages here just about every day but only answer when there's a good reason to. Started eating the Kashi plain. THAT was gross. Then I added a little bit of Cocoa Pebbles to the mix...made it taste better but why add 25 calories when I don't have to (remember, at my height, I only need 1000-1200 calories to MAINTAIN my weight and I'm trying to LOSE ). So I came up with the vanilla extract idea. Doesn't taste bad...makes like a vanilla milk base, with the Splenda added in there. So now I'm only limited by the flavors of extract on the market. Pity they don't make chocolate extract . Went to the doctor last week, as a follow-up to my visit last month...after checking it myself the whole time, my blood pressure is mildly high (low 130's over low-to-mid 80's). I go back in 6 months and he won't put me on meds as long as I stay below 140/90. SO...I started exercising to help make sure it stays down. Sucks getting old . How's doing?
