Guest guest
hehehe, you are ssooo funny, I don't know whats in them but with my boys I craved brussel sprouts all the time, bags of the frozen kind smothered in butter and vinegar and you know what, they just turned 8 and they LOVE that as their favorite veggie with the vinegar and butter too. My daughter i craved milk all the time, big tall cold glasses and she was a milk hound when she got off the bottles of formula, she would be after me all day " Mommy, can I have milk in my sippy cup " lol... I bet your baby is going to love french fries and mash potaoes i don't think it's anything our body lacks, just what we crave. I also loved french fries from this resteraunt down the road from my hubbys business that would smother their greasy old fries in vinegar for me, lol, No wonder I was ssooo fat prego with my daughter, lol..This one I ate McDoanalds alot but THANK GOD am wayyy over that. Guest guest
I once read that carbohydrates are the easiest for woman to tolerate during the 1st trimester and with morning sickness. I think that would attribute your potato cravings. Then again, some woman just crave things during pregnancy. In my 1st pregnancy I wanted oranges and orange juice...like crazy. I would even freeze my OJ in ice cube trays to may OJ ice cubes. Then, in my secound pregnancy I wanted pickes, pickle juice, and ...get this...raw onions with mustard on them. I know gross! whats in a potatoe? > OK, I am only 8 weeks along. I have not had any morning sickness, > just morning starvation. Guest guest
Sounds like you might be craving potassium! Commonly found in bananas too, potassium is in rich abundance in potatoes! Guest guest
At first my biggest craving was wheat thins! Had to have my wheat things. I think it helped with m/s. Now for some reason tomatos are tasting really good right now...and I've never been a big fan of them. As weird as it may be, your body knows what it needs. Good luck and congrats on the lack of m/s! > OK, I am only 8 weeks along. I have not had any morning sickness, > just morning starvation. Guest guest
Maybe it is the carbs you are craving. I seem to be eating more carbs than I did before I was pregnant. I can eat a small bag potato chips in one sitting and I am not a big fan of chips. I eat raisin toast in the morning followed by frosted mini-wheats for breakfast. I am 29 weeks and my cravings are still strong. I hope this goes away after the baby is born. Best wishes to you!!
