Pregnancy Glow is the sweat dripping off your forehead after you have been gagging all day.. JOKING! I don't glow... I look like crap for 9 months.. okay 7 months as my first was a 31 weeker. I BARELY get off the couch or lay on the floor and play with my toddler. The text book says end of first trimester... but many women are not textbook! Eat lots of mini meals.. good proteins, fruits and water and vits!! - Mommy to: Noah - 10/14/02 - 31 weeker - 3lbs 11 oz edd November 18th http://www.love-my-kids.com
Guest guest
Hello, I'm new to the group and I'm 7 weeks pregnant with a dd of 12- 11-04. My husband and I are very excited about the pregnancy, but to be truthful... I feel yucky! I had ds surgery about 2 years ago and lost about 150 pounds. My weight has stayed the same for quite some time... Since I became pregnant I have lost about 5 pounds... I am queasy all the time.. eating sounds very unappealing. The only reason I eat at all is because I am pregnant! I am also soo tired, I can't seem to get through the day without a nap...My face has broken out...My belly already looks bigger, my shorts are already tight... Also I am crampy all the time... I caught a cold...got a yeast infection...Right now I feel like being pregnant sucks! I expected morning sickness, but I just didn't expect everything else. I just feel so overwhelmed... I hate feeling so bad. When does it get better, so I can enjoy that pregnancy glow?
Guest guest
julie, not to discourage you, but to be truthful, I never glowed. I hope you get the *glow* though and get it soon! Sheila be absolutely certain to get in your vits and protein each and every day! have you had your serum iron levels & B12 levels checked in addition to your hemoglobin levels? this would be something to ask your OB to order for you. That was my main (still is) problem!
