Guest guest
I think you need to have a couple cycles to get back to normal but my Mom had my siters 10 months apart. It is hard with 2 though. i had twins and then when they were 2 1/2 had another baby and it was veryyyyy hard. I never got to enjoy just 1 single baby at a time. This one will be nice because when this one is 6 weeks the rest will go to school all day and I will get time alone with him God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY Age- 41 EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
I too was thinking we should start trying to concieve ASAP after this one comes due to the fact that I am 37 - have PCOS and have not been able to concieve for the last 18 years of marriage. How soon after delivering can you actually start trying. Don't you have to give your body a certain amount of time to heal back to a healthy state for the next one? When I mention this to hubby he looks like a deer in the headlights and says lets just get through this one first. I'm not getting any younger and I would love to have at least 2 if I am so blessed. - Diane > Shari, > I'm going to be 34 this July so I'm feeling the pressure too, LOL! Glenn and I decided that we aren't going to do anything to prevent pregnancy and just see what happens. I'm curious at how much nursing prevents pregnancy, maybe I should ask my OB when I see him at the end of this month. When should we expect to have our first period after giving birth? I'm guessing nursing suppresses that first period longer than if I wasn't? I guess I should be getting organized about all this soon eh? Watch us get pregnant and deliver close to the same time again, would that be funny!? LOL! > Axelrod > Re: Question on NUMBER > > > I've noticed that, too. I don't know if there's ever been a poll done. We're trying to conceive baby #2 now, and I'd LOVE to have twins! Hubby would faint, I think, LOL! > Enjoy your pregnancy! > Shari A in KS > WLS 8/99 > Mommy to Cadence 4/19/04 > > > >
Guest guest
Yeah I see your point with wanting to spend some tome with the individual baby but I see my sisters girls that are 2 years apart and they are best friends and I think that would be so nice too. My sisters and I are all 5 years apart so we did not grow up with that kind of closeness. I just can't wait to just have this little girl and we will see where life takes us from there. - Diane > I think you need to have a couple cycles to get back to normal but my Mom had > my siters 10 months apart. Your body should regulate as in vits and stuff by the 6 month mark. 6 months I say.. Good luck!!! FYI... My dh had the deer in the headlight look each time I told him I wa pregnant... umm.. duh.. he was there!!! Guest guest
Robin, Thats totally what I'm afraid of!!! Ideally I would like to wait till Hannah is at least 2 before we try for a second child but Glenn is 40 and I think he is really feeling the pressure. Thankfully, now that Hannah is here, he is no longer pressuring me for 3 kids and will be happy with 2. I'm just worried that I won't have the energy for two little ones so close together, but if it happens then I'm sure I will find the energy, just like you did Robin.
