baby sling or carrier question

is just at 26 inches long, so we are looking for a new car seat for him

because his bar is starting to hang over the end! He is only 4 months, so is

not able to sit up in a cart yet and is still in the shoes 23/7, so he usually

doesn't have them off anyway when we are out. Only 3 weeks left though! I

thought about getting a sling or carrier to carry him in when we are out, but

didn't know anything about them. I have seen it mentioned on here before and I

figured someone would know of one that would work with the DBB and where to buy

it! Thanks for all your help!

Hi there-

My daughter seems to be in the same situation, she is 5 1/2 months

old and cannot yet sit in the cart. I usually put her in the Baby

Bjorn when we're out. It works perfect with her DBB and with some

practice you can put them in it all by yourself, just put the

harness through her legs and you're off. She faces outward and

loves looking at everything....it's great! Hope this helps!

One mom mentioned that when her baby was too big for the carrier

type car seat, she still kept it in the car for use in the store

when the baby was in the shoes 23/7. I thought that was a pretty

good idea (although I was too dumb to remember this myself when Ava

was 23/7)
