Guest guest Posted July 26, 2005 Report Share Posted July 26, 2005 Interesting - I was told by our branch that MDA clinics *aren't allowed* to pay for copays, but " should* pay for all blood tests, *as long as they are at the MDA clinic facility.* But the variation could be due to the hospital, they could agree to pay MDA patients co- pays. The MDA clinic is the only place that I'll go for blood tests now, as when I give them a script, I sit down and get the blood taken within 5 minutes (the time it takes to grab tubes). It takes over an hour for my local hospital to figure out what tubes and prep I need since they do so few of them. The MDA clinic does 10 or more of these tests *per day*, and the local hospital might do ten *per year*... Take care, RH > > >Some MDA clinics will pay co-pays as well, but YMMV.
