Guest guest
Yes, but this is a personal problem, that no one can tell you what is best to do. We were in the same boat, and I did quit to stay home for the therapy. Depending on the household income you can sometimes get SSI or welfare, like the link card for groceries. However, many families, even one income, make too much. Its worth checking into. Would it be possible for you to work an evening job or weekend job? In the end, only you and your hubby can decide what to do. Its extremely difficult to live on one income. Especially, if you have more than one child. I have three kids, so I can sympathize. Guest guest
Just to let you know, both hubby and I work. We are currently getting 40 hours a week therapy from the school district and they are providing it at our private day care/pre school. We hired an advocate and got these things for our son since it was the " standard best practice " and " least restrictive environment " You don't have to quit your job - we couldn't surive if I quit mine - you can get this all done through the school district. It just takes a big fight. You can email me privately for more details if you like - or if there is enough interest on the list I can post my saga with the school district.
