Olivia is extremly noise sensitive as well. The slightest things

make her scream and terrify her, a car alarm down the street, the

stove buzzer, and loud trucks going by the house, etc. etc. Since

she was a preemie though the nurses warned us that she could become

noise sensitive since she spent the first 2 months of life in the

NICU and it is 24/7 lights, noise, beeps and constant activity.

Well they were right!! Although she is a bit better we still have at

least 2 episodes a day relating to loud noises.

I'm going to try the wax though!! I've tried cotton balls and all

it did was itch and drive her lil ears nuts! I just hope she can

still hear me enough to listen and pick up her toys... LOL.

Leah, that's an interesting slant on the noise sensitivity issue. My daughter was

also in special care for 2 months! Could be the answer!

I'm definately going to look for those wax things for the next time we go to the

cinema!
