Guest guest
- I understand your delema. We decided not to vaccinate our daughter until much later in life, perhaps when she is 4, and we will be very selective about what we chose to give her. We believe our son is autistic due to his vaccines - so we can't take a chance with our daughter. As a side note, she is going to be 1 year old on May 1 and has only had two very mild colds..... much healthier than any other baby I know.... hmmmmmm. Just curious - is your doctor recommending Prevnar to prevent ear infections? Just for your information, Prevnar is not licensed by the FDA for this purpose. Also I have some an article about this product and the injuries that have resulted from it. I think it was rushed to market. Let me know if you want it. I would take a look at www.909shot.com to get more info. Do all the research you can. This is an extremely important decision. Also - I found the information about Dr. Whitcomb below on a web site, I don't remember where, but he has a process for testing prior to vaccination that could help determine what things you should avoid... I haven't contacted him myself, but I saved this note so that I would have it if I needed it in future. " Harold Whitcomb, M.D., is a board qualified internist with an emphasis in environmental and preventive medicine. He may be contacted at: Aspen Clinic for Preventive and Environmental Medicine at Internal Medicine Associates, 100 E. Main St., Aspen, CO 81611; tel: or ; fax: " If you choose to vaccinate at this time I would proceed with extreme caution. Also Remember Hepatitis B is contracted from sexual intercourse and intravenous drug use - we didn't think that was something to worry about for our daughter just now.
