Guest guest
Poor Gillian! I am so sorry! this is a tough winter/cold season and thank god it is spring! I hope with the seasons change Gillian will be back to her ol' self! I would add flax seed oil vs cod if Gillian is allergic to Cod. (Seems to make sense, but not sure of course!!) I have had not good luck w/ Taurine for Jeff and have not done Evening Primrose oil or Melatonin yet. I just don't want to mess with natural sleep cycles... for Jeff the diet made the difference in his sleep. (Before we were not sleeping at all.. it was scary.) now we are OK. How much is Gillian up at night? Welcome back! lisa A jeffs mom supplement help Hi all....I've been off line for about a month. Gillian has been SOOOO sick. Guest guest
, What probs did you have with Taurine? Gillian takes about 60 - 90 mins to fall asleep...after an epsom bath, massage, stories, snuggling and soft music. She wakes for 2- 3 hours a night between 1 and 3 am. Her cycle is so off she doesn't nap every 3rd day. It's pretty hard on all. We had perfect sleep in Jan and Feb...then this strep thing got ahold of us! Melatonin scares me quite frankly. We've tried it 3 times. Each time she was out like a light in 15 minutes. However she still woke up at her normal time, but SCREAMING. She's not a screamer. I'd love any input from others! in Chicago supplement help > > >Hi all....I've been off line for about a month. Gillian has been SOOOO >sick. Guest guest
, We used to have terrible nights. Waking up screaming, hallucinating, night terror type behavior. The key to resolving this, for us, was getting to sleep before he got really tired. My friends midwife suggested we use a homeopathic remedy called Coffea Cruda. Yep, it's coffee essence. But it has the reverse effect of coffee. It does not drug or cause the heavy sleep that results in waking up confused and afraid. Honestly, I don't know how it works, I just know that it worked for all of our children. It got my children on a natural sleep/wake schedule after a short time of use. There are no negative side effects known as it is a homeopathic rememdy. These are thought to be totally safe and effective. I've even given it to my youngest son when he was an infant. Check it out, you can get it at almost any HFS. Jeannie
Guest guest
I had to read Jeff's journal but Taurine messed with Jeff's sleep cycles. We took it out (after doing 1/4 doses for a few days) and Jeff was back. Taurine made things a bit worse for us. BUT this is just Jeff. You always have a lot of fun play supplement roulette! You can always try small doses and see how it goes with your DR's help. I feel so bad you have so much trouble with Gilliam. Keep being diligent and be Dr. Sherlock Holmes. Something is in there that is bothering her. Call the Dr' daily with updates. He has to be your partner here. I do not have to tell you this but that sleep pattern is no good... (we had the same problem for a while.) Jeff's mystery was corn, SNT, and soy removal. Once we did that no screaming and VOILA! SLEEP WAS BACK! Needless to say we were thrilled. I hope the culprit can be found out soon so you can be sawing ZZZ's with Gillian! LIsa A jeffs mom supplement help > > >Hi all....I've been off line for about a month. Gillian has been SOOOO >sick.
