Guest guest
Jen, SGA is Small for Gestational Age. Matt was born SGA, and maybe premature. He was adopted so his birth mom was always a little " fuzzy " on the dates. Anyway, he did not acheive any catch up growth by age 2 and was totally off the charts when we started him on growth hormone at age 6. He also sees a peds GI for severe gastric reflux, delayed gastric empyting, food allergies, recurrent H. Pylori..... We have dealt with some of the same issues as RSS, but at convention last year Dr. Harbison said Matt was not RSS. But they are treated in similar ways so the SGA/RSS division is together. Have you checked out Magic? They are an invaluable resource for RSS.
