Guest guest
I know this topic was discussed before but can't remember what, if anything it may mean. When Ava stands up the last 2-3 toes roll underneath her foot. Is that normal? Definitly the last two almost disappear. She does have severe atypical cf but the R is more severe. They are very crooked and tiny on this foot. We will be seeing Dr. Ponseti soon but I was hoping you guys could give me the heads up on this first. Thanks KK
Guest guest
Totally normal! All of my son's toes (except the big toe) rolled under for the first two years of his life. It completley freaked me out. When he stood it looked like he was only born with a big toe. The first ortho we saw even said my son might need surgery for it when he hit 2. However, our Ponseti doc said that was ridiculous and it would go away shortly after he turned two which it did. My son was unlateral left and toes on both feet did this but far worst on the left side. It does go away on its own you just have to give it a couple of years. You'll notice them starting to flatten out after she has been walking for about 12 months. > > I know this topic was discussed before but can't remember what, if > anything it may mean.
