Guest guest
LOL When I went into labor, I insisted on taking a shower and shaving my legs before I left for the hospital. When I got into the tub, my contractions were 5 mins apart, and hubby was calling my Dr to let her know. By the time I got out, (and I showered and shaved as FAST as I could!), they were 2-3 mins apart! Hubby was hurrying me along, because he was the one doing the timing. I was fussing with getting my hair dry and he was running around grabbing my clothes and saying , " No time, Come ON!!! " I had no idea my contractions had gotten so close together. I just kept finding " one more thing " I had to take care of before we could leave. My doctor has already scolded me and told me that for any future deliveries I am to go straight to the car, no showering first, because I deliver fast and with no pushing. I know some people who, like my stepsister, went to the hospital not caring what she looked like.. Then a friend of mine who demanded on showering and doing her hair and makeup after her water broke before going to the hospital! I touched up my hair roots this morning and am going to do some waxing so that I don't go into labor and delivery looking like a sasquatch. In case I happen to go into labor sometime soon..... Anyone else care how they look when they go to the hospital? I want to look good in these after baby pictures. I was so big and fat with ...not that I am expecting to look like a supermodel...but halfway to supermodel would be nice....Ha ha!
