I honestly don't know if Dr. Cohen is seeing new adult patients. The last I

heard there was a 18 to 24 month wait for a new pediatric patients diagnostic

consult for mito. It is far easier to get an appointment with Dr. SHoffner in

Atlanta. I can tell you that process if you are interested.

What part of the US do you live in?

How did you get connected to Dr. Cohen? Through a referral by your home

Neurologist?

Through MDA?

I would like to try and initiate the process sooner than later, and would

appreciate any advice

or experiences you all have to offer.

Thank you,

Kathleen

I have been a patient of Dr. Cohen for many years. It is also a family

appointment (sister and her daughter who is a ped. patient). I agree

that Dr. Cohen is probably not taking any new adult patients. This is

not his decision, but work load and Cleveland Clinic dictate this

situation.

You live in Ohio or were fortunate to get in to see

him a long time ago. We waited over a year and never

could see him.
