Your close, Miss Hannah Banana will be 9 weeks tomorrow, can you believe it?!

LOL! Time is just whizzing by when you don't get any sleep eh? LOL! Anyway,

didn't get as much time with the lawyer today as we all wanted as he something

came up unexpected so we are going to have another appointment on Thursday. We

did have some time to go into more detail with him about all that happened and

he explained to us that he tells more people than one would think that they

actually don't have a case and he doesn't take these things lightly, but in his

opinion we definitely have a case. When hubby and I were leaving and discussing

our impressions on the meeting and the lawyers we discovered that we both got

the vibe that he is trying to gently tell us that our case may be precedent

setting. I guess I will get more of an idea where we will have to take this

when we meet with him again on Thursday once he has had a chance to review our

medical records and discuss it with his colleague. He wants hubby and I to

think about what our main goal is with this fight, to get money, clear my name,

punish the hospital and/or the nurse and social worker, or make sure that this

doesn't happen again and change policy. To me the best case scenario would be

for all these things to happen but if I had to choose one it would be to have my

good name back, if I get to choose two the second would be for policy to change

so this doesn't happen to anyone else. The main reason I started speaking to my

OB months before Hannah was born about making the hospital aware of the meds I

was on and why was to avoid a situation like this, so if I can do something so

another new mom doesn't have her first days with her little one spoiled like

mine was that would be great.

I'm sorry you and hubby aren't feeling well. Thanks for thinking of me and

my family, its nice to know that we are thought of. I hope you guys feel

better soon!!!!

Thanks for the update - I was wondering how things were going, but

didn't want to ask, as I know how much you have on your plate...I

would tend to agree with you about the nursing unit trying to

cya...Wow, as if a $50 gift certificate can erase everything. I

probably would have felt better about it had she just sent the

apology...Glad to hear you are going to the lawyer.

How are you feeling? And how is Miss Hannah? She must be what, 6 or

7 weeks? Or am I totally out to lunch in that regard? Probably so as

I have been up all night with a migraine and a sick hubby coughing

and sputtering in my ear...lol..He came through his GBP alot

smoother than he is getting through a cold! But thats a man for

you...gotta luv him...

Anyway, hope to hear how you and Hannah and her daddy are doing.
