Guest guest
Robin (and for the others in here with twins), Do you buy two cribs with twins, or do you let the 2 co-sleep together? I've never read anything anywhere, nor do I have anyone close that has had twins and the subject never came up before....lol just silly me thinking these things up! lol Sheila
Guest guest
Shelia, When our twins were babies, we let them share even tho we had two cribs. It was just easier in the middle of the night when it was feeding time for them to be close together. They shared the bassinet for a few weeks as well. My babies were 5weeks early but the were big 6.15 and 5.6 When they were a few months old we put them in their own cribs, except for nap time. When was ig enough, I'd say about a year maybe just a little less, we would find him in Meg's crib. It scared us to death the first time when we went to check on them and he was gone. LOL good luck with the twins...and the best advice is to stick to a schedule or no one will get any slepp wls 12/18/2001 Mom to Georgie 2-19-94 Meg and Matt 05-02-96 and na 07/10/
Guest guest
Hi Sheila, Well, since my MIL graciously offered to buy both cribs we took her up on the offer since we knew we would eventually need two. We plan on only using one for at least the first 4-6 months and keep the other in storage, until we feel they need their own space. When we thought we would be buying the cribs on our own we planned on getting one now and the other later. Besides, we got matching cribs that convert to toddler beds then " big kid " beds. Thank God for those proud grand parents... what would we do without them??? Guest guest
we're not having 2 but my friend has twin boys who are now pushing 3. at first she had one bed...until about 4 or 5 months...because their feeding times weree slightly different they would wake each other up...and one of the boys whould sleep cazy and kick and wake the otehrr up...so I would say separate beds from the get go if you can...eventuly you will have to. hope this helps Adam & e Gaspard Kay Independent Beauty Consultant www.marykay.com/starbound107 dumb question.... but I don't know the answer...lol Robin (and for the others in here with twins), Do you buy two cribs with twins, or do you let the 2 co-sleep together?
