Guest guest
Hi a and welcome! First of all you have found the right place to come for information. I had surgery a little over 2 years ago. I have also gotten pregnant and given birth to a healthy beautiful baby boy. I should also say that I have lost 221 lbs thanks to the surgery. It was the right thing for me to do. Also, I am sorry about your loss. I lost my first baby 6 years ago at 36 weeks of pregnancy, following a car accident. I know how very difficult it is, and how scary the idea of a subsequent pregnancy is. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I wish you the best of luck with whatever you decide to do. Guest guest
Thanks, ! Congratulations and I am so looking forward to getting to know all of you better! I am really excited about pursuing the next phase of all of this. I wrote my letter for the insurance company yesterday, but I am still waiting on my records from FL so I can include them with the letter. I will be meeting with my new PCP today to discuss WLS, which will be considered my first of 6 monthly appts I need to have documented. I am hoping that when I submit my information to the insurance company that they will see that I don't really need to wait for 6 months, but if I have to, I will. I have Deere and have been told they approve some without a lot of paperwork and others they stick to the rules. Considering luck doesn't come to me naturally, I plan on having a 6 month wait. Anyway, thanks for the welcome and I hope to be talking with you more soon! a
Guest guest
Hi a, you will have an easier time getting pregnant after your surgerya nd your 1 year wait than trying now. You will be much healthier after you lsoe weight too. this is my first baby after surgery and Ifeel ssoooo much healthier this time even though I am an older Mom. You will be fine as long as you can eat healthy and can get in your vitamins. A few months before you actually try to conceive start yourself on 800 mcg of folic acid, it helps prevent some birth defects and is great tos tart before pregnancy. When you do get pregnant take all your vitamins PLUS a prenatal prescribed by your doctor. good Luck, God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!!
