Guest guest
Hi , I am sorry you are in so much pain with this. I have one too but it is not bothering me, just looks like an alien head coming out of my belly and it sounds like mine is in the sam place as yours. I had one at surgery time too that was from a gallbladder surgery and was near my belly button and he fixed that during surgery. My OB had told me earlier thought hat if it bothered me that I could wear a binder to help. Maybe that would help you cause it would hold it in some. I know my umbillical hernia was very painful so I sure hope something works for you so you don't have to suffer with it. God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
I was told that if I had pain from my hernia I was to seek out my doctor immediately! Hernia's can be VERY dangerous if they cause an obstruction. You really need to have it looked at by someone who specializes in hernias. I would assume they could do some sort of ultrasound to see if there's anything terribly wrong. I also have a very large hernia but no pain involved. I was told by my OB and family doc both, that if I have any pain I'm to make sure I call to be seen immediately. Guest guest
Hey you guys!! Thanks for all your replys.. I went to my ob today and He prescribed a velcro binder to wear to keep my hernia in place... I dont have any obstructions its just that after i eat and drink it pushes my insides through the hole and its hard for the gas and stuff to pass through.. I guess now we see if the binder works.. I know that if i lay flat and and hold it in with my hand it helps pass the gas and everything... They are keeping and eye on me very closely to make sure all is well. GasEX does help a little too with the gas pain!! I just hope that with the baby getting bigger it doesnt get much worse!! I guess time will tell!! Thanks again for all your imput and help it is very much appreciated! Huggers ITS A GIRL!!
