I can answer 2 of your questions- the EnerG egg replacer contains citric

acid derived from corn, there is no soy connection that I know of. Clariton

redi-tabs are gluten and casein free, but only the redi-tabs are. I hope

this helps. Also for margarine, you might try coconut butter, you can get it

from Miss Robens.

several useful tips/ideas about the GF/CF diet, and would like to say

" thanks " . But it seems no matter how much I learn about this diet there is

always another layer that has be decoded and memorized. Quite frankly, my

brain feels as if it is on overload and spinning out of control.

discovered in Jan, 2001, that Soy is also a problem. We are now working on

taking out corn and eggs (oh, what fun we are having). She is also off all

food dyes, nitrates and sulfates (Spell?).. and finally here are my

questions:

butter/marg?

of the ingred. is derived from Soy. Does anyone know this for sure -- if

so, what ingred. is it? I called Ener G to confirm one way or another and

they were unaware of the possible soy connection.

My daughter takes Brainchild and I think it's great. We tried her

on TMG but saw increased aggression and hyperactivity. She

does much better on DMG. This is not true for every child,

though; lots of them do great on TMG. I used to give her folic

acid (1600) a day; it seemed to make the hyperactivity worse, so I

lowered the dose until I finally stopped giving it altogether, and

she seems fine. I can't give her the vitamins after 4 PM though or

she is up really late. My doctor suggested lemon balm to help

calm her down and this has seemed to work. I think those are

the only questions I can help with - good luck!
