Guest guest
Hi, I am hoping it is okay that I join this group. I have not yet had the Gastric Bypass surgery, but I am in the beginning phases and I have some concern about the safety of getting pg afterward. I am 25 years old and I have PCOS, which has made having children very difficult. I am told by my doctor that after the surgery it will be a lot easier to get pg, but I am worried about how safe it is. There isn't a lot of information online about it and I just want to know going into the surgery if I try a little longer (already been trying for 18 months) for a baby before the surgery or if having a baby later is a possibility. Obviously, you guys have been able to get pg and I hope to learn from you. I lost my first child 4 years ago today and I am scared to death to go through that again if the surgery would make me even more likely to lose a baby. Anyway, sorry to ramble, but I hope it is okay if I can stick around and learn what I may expect in the next year or so. Thanks, a
