Guest guest
Shayna It is my understanding that SLEs are caused by lack of cellular energy to brain cells. This can be temporary if treated in a timely manner and recovery is fairly quick and often complete. They can cause cell death and therefore permanent damage as seen in a regular stroke. TIAs are small strokes that are caused by bleeds or clots. There are some docs who believe that TIAs are actually complex severe migraines. This is just how I understand it. laurie > > > > > > > Could someone tell me what the difference is between Stroke-Like > Episodes and actual strokes or TIAs? > >
