Guest guest
My Son (aspergers) always has been obsessed with rollercoasters, however this has been GREATLY modified since he's been on the diet and supplements. Recently I've been kind of reworking his supplements, teachers concern over distractibility etc...and yes " suggesting " ritalin. Well I just decided to start from scratch with his supplements and took him off completely so I could start from the beginning again and check behavior changes more closely. At home he has been pretty much fine w/o all the supplements and have not really heard much from school...but now after 4 days without...he is consumed with talk of rollercoasters! He said that he can't help it. It was the first thing out of his mouth this morning...so we went ahead and gave him two snt...what supplement helps curb obsessive behavior? He has been on the snt, dmg/folic acid, evening primrose, probiotics, flax oil, dha, reduced l-glutathione,magnesium glycinate,coq10. I am so overwhelmed trying to backtrack. Obviously something we were using worked for him...I don't want to just rush in with all of them again though...what should I do next...It is just so sad to see him so consumed by these thoughts. Help! Thanks so much Suzanne
Guest guest
Suzanne, I see you use DMG (dimethylglycine). You might want to consider TMG (trimethylglycine). The third methyl, as I understand it, becomes a precursor to the production of serotonin. Low serotonin can result in obsessive compulsive behavior. Just a thought. in FL what > supplement helps curb obsessive behavior?
