Hi Chrisitine,

Prednisone is not a med I think our kids should be on. I'm not a

doctor but, his pulmonoloigist put Braeden on the med and once I

looked up the side effects, I realized it wasn't a med to give to a

RSS kid. Basically, it can insrease blood sugar levels, heart rate,

and increase hyperactivity. When I did the research on the med I

called his pulomonogy nurse who agreeded with me and we switched

meds. I just wanted to pass on my experience.

--Hi thanks for the info I definitley didn't know that that is not

good for our kids? has a mild case of RSS but has way many

other issues!! I know when he was on it he peed all the time

every 3 to 5 minutes.What is a pulmonoligist exactly?? I haven't

heard of this he has 9 doctors but never heard of this. he doesn't

seem to have blood sugar problems or the ketone problems . well write

me back when you can!! I did notice he bounced off the walls more

than normal lol thanks
