Guest guest
I just bought a jar of almond butter from the HFS. There is about an inch of oil on the top and the rest is REALLY firm. I've tried to stir it up, but the solid part is absolutely too firm for that. Do I put it in another container and use the mixer on it? How do you use this stuff? __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I have bought Almond butter like that and it is past the " good " date. Take it back to the store. You should be able to easily stir it and mix it up. Natural Almond and Cashew butters always require some stirring (kind of like the old fashion peanut butter my mom used to buy!) But if it is TOO HARD it is old and needs to be returned. It should be a medium soft texture. Take care lisa A jeffs mom (Jeff who loves almond butter and rice biscuits!) Help please! How do I handle this Almond Butter? I just bought a jar of almond butter from the HFS. There is about an inch of oil on the top and the rest is REALLY firm.
