I know we all have different doctors with differing opinions, but that drop seems really rapid to me. How long have you been taking prednisone? Just be careful! Guest guest
Dear New Sue, I'm throwing my 2 cents in, my rheumy has been taking me down on the pred one mg at a time. Thirty mgs at a crack seems like a lot to me! Just to soothe all of us worrywarts, could you ask him again if that is correct? I'm sure he knows what he is doing and it seems they all do something different, but since most of us either have been or are on pred and have been taken down a couple of mgs at a time, this drastic a change makes us nervous. But then, we all do tend to worry about each other. Take care! Love,Judy Re: prednisone --- DagnyThrw@... wrote:> Dear New Sue! A warm welcome to the group. Guest guest
Hi Saundra/ On the subject of prednisone, the last time we saw Dr H we told her that the pediatrician had suggested a 3 day course of prednisone when 's astma acts up because it is faster/easier than running the nebulizer. She was VERY against this idea. She was quite clear that should not be on prednisone.
