With my last 3 pregnancies First one I did not feel her move until I was 18

weeks, Second one I did not feel move at all ( loss at 14 weeks) third one was

about 16 weeks.

Granted all those times I was about 40-50 lbs heavier and the smaller you are

the easier it is to feel it and especially when you have been pregnant before

and know what it feels like.

Than again When I was in the Hospital after my gastric by-pass surgery the gas

was moving around so much in one spot you can see it " jump up " like a baby

kicking My mother could even see it !!! HAHA!

GAS and baby Kicks Can be a Tricky thing to tell apart !!! :)

I felt the first movement, kind of a pushing sensation and off/on

flutters, around 10 weeks and even though the doc said it would be

unusual, it wasn't impossible.

Come to find out that we are having twins, which explained the early

feeling of movement. Sometimes early feelings of movement can

indicate a multiple pregnancy or miscalculation of gestational age.

Hi everyone. My name is Missie. I was wondering if it is possible to feel

fetal movement as early as 15 weeks? This is my second pregnancy. I am almost

2 years post op and obviously alot thinner with this one so I am wondering if

these weird sensations could be the baby. Also, my doc said I probably

won't really start showing untill 18 weeks but at 15 I already feel like I am

sticking out pretty big. What are your thoughts? Thanks everyone!

You are probably feeling the baby. Especially since this is the second

pregnancy you know what your feeling.

Hi Missie~

Not sure about the baby movement part, I am 15 weeks now and I don't feel it

yet, but it's my first baby, so I have no idea what to feel anyways! LOL. Doc

said I would feel it at about 20 weeks or so, but everyone is different, some

sooner.

As far as showing......oh jeez.....my size 6 jeans that I was when I got preggo

are SERIOUSLY a thing of the past. Can't even get them up over my ass now. I

have only gained 4 pounds, but if I was going to buy regular jeans (not

maternity) it would surely be a size 12 or so.

I asked the doc about this, why am I puffy all over, my sagging skin from the

WLS is all filling out again, etc. and he attributed it to the increased blood

volume, placenta, baby, and that I'm probably retaining fluid (even though I

drink 80+ oz. of water a day.) And he said that because I was 314 pounds pre

WLS, my stomach muscles are shot, and that I would show like this was my 3rd

child.

Hope this helps! I'm sure some ladies on here can help you out with the baby

movement aspect of your post!
