Guest guest
You seem to be very angry. We all have different opinions about the diet. What works for one kid may not work for another. Not everyone on this sight has a child on the GFCF diet( like mine). The reason i'm on this sight is to read the different things each child and parent goes through everyday, and to read everyone's opinion. Don't get so angry when you read something you don't like. Good luck with your child Rebekha N.Y.
Guest guest
* She isn't frieking about accidental infringements - OK. But is she purposely sitting down and drinking cows milk and giving up the diet? This diet I know doesn't work for everyone, but for the many of us that it does, I can't see taking the chances of sitting down to cows milk as the other poster had said and just popping enzymes. Then what I am trying to say is that then she really isn't on this diet if she is purposly consuming cows milk and gluten products. If she chose to go off this diet, fine, many do leave- but you can't say (as she does) that she is GFCF just by simply popping enzymes and eating anythging you'd like. She chose another way , fine for her, but then it is not GFCF simply by enzyme popping, and no food alternates. I'm not saying BOOO to her if thats what she chooses, but then she is not GFCF as she states, which new people will think, Hey just pop a pill and screw the diet. in New York * On Thu, 10 May 2001 23:23:34 -0700 " Schlotzhauer " renee1dat@...> writes: > , > > Since you are such an avid believer in ' book I > thought you > might want to check out some of her comments about enzymes at the > gfcfrecipe > group. Guest guest
Rebekha, No, I am not angry, but I sure wouldn't go to a weight watchers meeting either and talk of those " eat all you want fat burner pills " either. on Long Islnad New York * On Fri, 11 May 2001 00:10:24 EDT kbsg1@... writes: > You seem to be very angry. Guest guest
I really think we should all be open minded. Remember, not so long ago this gfcf diet was untried and thanks to people like , and Karyn Seroussi they have opened up a whole new world to us. Maybe these enzymes can help do the same or maybe it will be something else. We all want what is best for our kids to be healthy happy and back with us. As long as it is safe I do not see the harm in trying something new. I was told my son would get sick from a gfcf diet and I was going to poison him and cause a brain neuropathy? by giving him extra vitamin B. Things are changeing every day and I for one welcome any information and I can be the one to go after it or not. I think you are all so great and I have learned a tremendous amount from you. Guest guest
At the conference in Michigan last weekend, Dr. , Dr. Andy Wakefield, Dr. Shaddock, Dr. Pranghorn and Dr. Caves were all firm on the fact that you must beGFCF and use enzymes. You cannot substitute the enzymes for the diet. Maureen
