Guest guest
Valentines Day (aka conception day) I bought dh a Reese Peanut butter heart... It has been sitting in the fridge for months... taunting me... snickering at me.... So.. I read the label... 4 servings at 18 gr sugar each. Hmmm... what if I made it 8 servings??? 9 grams of sugar... So.. I scored it and ate 1/8th last night... It was DELICIOUS... SAtisfying... and it was just the taste I was looking for.... I didn't dump.... I don't know if I would have dumped pre preg.. as I was newly post op and stayed FAR..FAR away from sugars... On the one hand... I ate 1 piece of candy like a " thin " person.. and didn't gorge myself. That is a FIRST for me.... and I feel good about that... On the other hand..... I CAN eat a piece of candy..... I really need to fix my food habits... I can see myself slowly reverting back to the old me.. White bread..... high carb meals..... Doritos.... (hey.. a handful.. sure beats the whole bag!) Time to switch back to the whole grains.. more protein ... and Big Salads with chicken and cheese and vege's!! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * K in Ft Lauderdale Noah - 10/14//02 Jonah - edd 11/18/04 Hand Beaded Scrunchies and More! http://stores.ebay.com/frugalmomfla
Guest guest
Definatley be careful. I can eat a whole hershey bar with almonds and feel fine now and i hate that I can do that. I have still gotten nauseous on other things though like orange juice fromt he sugars so anything can trigger it so always be careful. Guest guest
I don't dump and can eat anything! I get satisfied with just a little bit now and it is great to feel like a " normal " person and not obsess about what I eat and how much. I do concentrate on getting protein first though. - Diane > Valentines Day (aka conception day) I bought dh a Reese Peanut butter > heart... > It has been sitting in the fridge for months... taunting me... snickering at > me.... > > So..
