in the weeks to come?

i was apx 133/135 prior to pregnancy got up to about 167 lost a few

pnds prior to having him 164 and now about 157 so im curious how long

it will take me to lose the rest and if i will ever get back to a

size 6/135 weight???

i know its only been a few days but its really weighing heavy on my

mind and bothering me alot, i have hardly eaten the last couple of

days cuz im soo busy with my little boy now and i know thats not good

but im also worried about this weight gain..

It takes 9 months for your uterus to grow, your lungs to

increase, your blood flow to increase up to 50% more in

volume, etc etc.

It takes at least 6 months for your body to fully recover

and return to a pre-pregnancy state. Your body has so

many changes to go through in the first 2 months - it's

working so hard to make milk for your baby, to get rid of

the extra blood volume, to shrink the uterus back down

(takes about 6 weeks just for THAT! and yes, that

includes all of that extra uterus weight..), reduce the

blood volume, release extra fluid it's been carrying

around, etc...

will you get back to a size 6? No idea. that really

depends on many factors. However...right now your

body is still recovering - give it 6 months, especially if

you're nursing your baby, before you do any heavy

dieting...
