Guest guest
Asd kids typically (if there such a thing as a typical asd kid) have digestion problems. Hence the diet and everything else we get into. One of these problems is absorption of nutrients in food. An asd child can eat a diet that is much better than their typical peers, but if their bodies are not absorbing those nutrients, then they are suffering. It may not be anything that shows outwardly right away, but the body has many " systems " and these substances all play a vital (hence the term " vitamin " ) role in those systems. If a particular substance is missing or is present in too small an amount, then one or more system will be adversely affected. So I guess that it may not be so much what the supp is doing, but what is the absence of it doing? HTH Pat in Ohio
Guest guest
We too have seen good results from each of the things we have tried. No one thing has cured my daughter but each tiny step forward has made the difference! You can only go wrong by NOT trying for yourself. Maybe it will work for you and maybe it won't, but I am sure that if you are here and asking the question then you probably already know that it is worth a shot. We are using Nordic Naturals fish oils, Brainchild Nutritionals Spectrum ll, and Chlonodine. Thank GOD for all three. My daughter is sweet, loving, and LOOKING at me.
