Guest guest
Jodie, There IS a relationship between RSS and ADHD. Dr. H. thinks it is because so many have undiagnosed/treated hypoglycemia in infancy. Max was treated for it when he turned 5. It was not so much the H part, but the inability to stay focused. We did not realize, however, that it can aggravate Tourette's and Max showed signs of it at that age, but it was " blamed " on ADHD. Don't worry about the Tourette's, though. That is not related, at least not yet found to be. If you need any guidance or advice, let me know. I am a special ed teacher, now teaching special ed kindergarten, but I've taught up to 8th grade. Email me privately. Jodi
Guest guest
hi nobody has said anything about avery yet. although we kinda wonder. if i only had a third of his energy. avery is non stop until about 10 or 10:30pm every night. the only way i can get him to sit still for awhile is to put a movie in that he likes. but if is a slow movie such as finding nemo, he won't watch it. i don't get to sit and read to him like i did my daughter when she was little. and coloring is much more fun when he is breaking and throwing the colors. loves to act out playing football. really funny to watch that little body leaning over as if to hick the ball. his head and feet on the floor at the same time. i was thinking this morning that i am going to fill the house with lavender candles and scents. don't know if it will work, but it will smell good. enjoy, i am so glad avery is able to be so wild and active. amy pasz averys momma almost 3years old wow! > hi everyone! > does anyone know anything about ADDH? my ped. dr and actually myself > as well believe that christopher may have ADDH. he is to young to > test though at this time. he has a VERY short attention span and is > hyper as well. has anyone else's rss child have this? i know > according to the broucher that i got from magic that it can be a > charteristic of rss. if anyone has any input please let me know. > jodie > (nicholas-5 nonrss, christopher-3 22lbs 33 " rss, johnathon-6 m > nonrss)
