Jodie,

There IS a relationship between RSS and ADHD. Dr. H. thinks it is

because so many have undiagnosed/treated hypoglycemia in infancy.

Max was treated for it when he turned 5. It was not so much the H

part, but the inability to stay focused. We did not realize,

however, that it can aggravate Tourette's and Max showed signs of it

at that age, but it was " blamed " on ADHD. Don't worry about the

Tourette's, though. That is not related, at least not yet found to

be.

If you need any guidance or advice, let me know. I am a special ed

teacher, now teaching special ed kindergarten, but I've taught up to

8th grade. Email me privately.

Jodi

hi

nobody has said anything about avery yet. although we kinda wonder.

if i only had a third of his energy. avery is non stop until about 10

or 10:30pm every night. the only way i can get him to sit still for

awhile is to put a movie in that he likes. but if is a slow movie

such as finding nemo, he won't watch it. i don't get to sit and read

to him like i did my daughter when she was little. and coloring is

much more fun when he is breaking and throwing the colors. :) loves

to act out playing football. really funny to watch that little body

leaning over as if to hick the ball. his head and feet on the floor

at the same time. i was thinking this morning that i am going to fill

the house with lavender candles and scents. don't know if it will

work, but it will smell good. :) enjoy, i am so glad avery is able to

be so wild and active.

-hi amy!

sounds like my christopher, we get tired some days just watching him

never mind chasing after him!! he'll move from one thing to another

so quick so days he drives me nuts! i have friends that want us to

go to see the movies i tell them he won't sit still long enough and

they don't understand because the kids do. i don't go out alot with

the three boys alone because christopher some days is just all over

the place and its to hard by myself.
