Not Benedryl...benedryl is an antihistamine and will dry you up! What they talk about is Guaifenesin (ie. plain robitussin)...which is an expectorant and is supposed to loosen your mucus up (thus if you are very congested it's supposed to loosen it up so you can cough it up). Cervical mucus is just mucus...same as in your nose or can be in your chest... Not Benedryl.....
