I have had the same thing. My doc told me when I go to get up, to slide

to the edge of the furniture then slowly work your way up. My doc said that it

is due to hormones being so high during pregnancy and when we go to get up

normal, we shoot the blood up to our heads too fast.

I was very lightheaded the first 4 or so months but it was mostly if I got up

fast, bent over to get something or turned my head quickly. It went away and

I never passed out from it.

Hi fellow 1st timer. OB's office pretty much said to be sure I'm

seated during a dizzy spell, so I don't risk falling. They also

suggested something else, but it was specifically aimed @ 2nd

trimester moms.
