It usually gets a bit better after the first trimester....

Your body is full of changing hormones... and your HCG levels are doubling

every 2 to 4 days.. in the very beginning...

OVERLOAD!!

I would get hubby the book...

" My boys can swim "

It is a short, humours, easy read book that most men can understand...

Basically.. tells him when to shut up and what NOT to say!

These first few months are full of emotional rollercoaster feeling and then

toward the end it does it again. the middle seems to be more stable. It will

pass. it gets worse when tired too so try to stay well rested.

I remember when I was first pregnant...I told hubby very bluntly....I hate you -

I must be pregnant or my period is going to start.

Since he has 5 sisters luckily he didn't take it to heart.

I have noticed when I am in early pregnancy he cannot do a darn thing

right....poor guy.

Even his breath offends me....!

Don't worry it will pass.

hormones rage throughout pregnancy since that's what keeps you

pregnant and keeps the little guy (or gal) in there til delivery!

After delivery is a hormonally emotional time as well. You're normal.

You just need to be certain to develop normal, healthy coping

mechanisms to get you through!

It's worth noting that hormones released by the fetus are what causes

labor to begin, as well, and in an unmedicated delivery, there is an

incredibly complex hormonal cascade between the fetus and the mother

that keeps things progressing. Medications disrupt much of this

delicate hormonal cascade, according to researchers in Europe.
