Guest guest
I love acupuncture! It has saved me from huge amounts of pain and medication. My acupuncturist doesn't use the electrical nerve stimulation, but rather the traditional Japanese method. I was almost completely disabled from my fibromyalgia and arthritis pain. Within three treatments I was down from 17 different scheduled meds/day (not to mention the five break through pain meds) to four normal people meds, not an anti-inflammatory, muscle relaxer, or pain med in those. Guest guest
Hi Judie! My doctor theorized it might have happened due to the fact that when I was a preteen, I used to love walking fences. Well, I was walking on a neighbor's fence, slipped and fell on my head but at the same time my thighs got caught on the fence so there was this real jarring feeling and my entire back felt as if it compacted about 3 inches for a few seconds. This actually happened to me twice, on the same fence! (Obviously, it didn't knock any sense into me.) I don't know if something like that can actually cause a pinched nerve but that was what my doctor thought. Guest guest
Have others had problems with sciatica? Do you know if it's supposed to be connected to the mito?
Guest guest
Yes, I have, but I have a bulging disk and lots of spinal arthritis. Indirectly these problems could be due to muscle weakness, but the sciatica is from the actual spinal problems. laurie > > Have others had problems with sciatica?
