Guest guest
Robin, I can SOOOOOOO sympathize with you. My kids have been out of school for about 6 weeks so our summer is almost over. (They restart school on 08/09 - 5 days after my C-section.) I am about to pull my hair out. Not to mention I work 2 jobs, both of them I do at home with them here all freakin day long (I'm a medical transcriptionist). And all day long it's fights and arguments. " He won't let me play the GameCube. " " He stole my GameBoy. " " He won't pour me a drink. " yada yada yada.........and they wonder why pregnant women (hell even not pregnant women) are so freaking bitchy!!!!! Who wants to live their life like this????? I swear I have literally lost my mind this summer. My relief is that tomorrow I am taking my 10-year-old 2 1/2 hours a way for a week at camp.......then when he comes home on Saturday next week my middle one (7) goes to camp for a week. So I'm down a kid every week until I go out on disability. My 5-year-old is not old enough to go to camp just yet....but yippee he does start Kindergarten this year!! I wonder some days how in the world I'm going to handle 4 boys, 2 jobs, a house, and all of their activities after this next one gets here. I think I must be the grumpiest, meanest mother in the world. I know they think I don't know how to do anything but yell lately!! Boy do I ever wish that Calgon take me away thing really did work. Mandi in Concord, NC Postop Distal RNY 09/23/02 Due with #4 08/04/04 and getting fatter and bitchier by the minute!!!!!! 316/186 (211 at 35 weeks--this BETTER come off!!)/
Guest guest
OMG, kids are great but the whole summer off is crazzyyyy. Camp will be great for them. They don't really have anything here overnight until they are 9 but the boys will go to a day camp for 2 weeks the end of August. They don't go back to school until after Labor day so i have a while at home with them yet. My 5 year old will be in kindergarten this year too, WHOOOHOOOOO and then, like you, it will just be me and baby all day God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY Age- 41 EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!!
