I have a question for you all about blood sugar...First of all let me

say..I am 2 years post op and 3 mos preg with twins. I was a

gestational diabetic with my daughter 6 years ago and with the

gastric bypass the nutritionist has me checking my blood sugar 1hr

after meals. Well, My numbers have me confused today. When I woke

up they were 100...after breakfast they were at 86 and I must admit

it was a total carb breakfast this morning...Hashbrowns with

ketchup. Then, an hour after lunch, it was up to 209!!! I had a

tacobell mexican pizza...(I know, not the best thing but I cant eat

much, I eat what sounds good right now)...Then 15 min later the level

was down to 107...10 min after that they were 88. Anyone know if it

is normal to fluctuate THAT much?? This is all new to me but doesnt

seem like it should change that drastically that fast. Anyone know

anymore about this than I do?

ps. I am not actually supposed to be eating a diabetic diet

yet...they want me to eat normal and see what my sugars are

doing...If they arent stable enough then I guess I will be concidered

diabetic...Arrrgh..im confused!!!
