Guest guest
I am about to go before the school board about the possible expulsion of my nine year old son from school. The tone of the letter expressed that they do not plan alternative placement for his education. Some one please tell me the law. If they expell him from the district do they still have to provide him with a education? He did violate the rules of the school and commited a violent act during a rage episode. Does that mean they do not have to help him? I do not condone his behavior but I do not believe he can control his actions during a rage episode. His violent outbursts are directly related to his medical condition, for which they just put him in special education for. If any one knows the law on this please email me. The meeting is in two days I have no money and no hope of hiring a lawyer so I guess I am going it alone.
