Guest guest
Hi everyone! I had 200cm bypassed 7/9/03 and am down 135lbs. I could lose another 40lbs or so...but I am *really* ready to have a baby. I will be 29 yrs old in Sept and have been married 10 yrs this Dec. I am curious what vites we should be taking? I am taking: 2 Flintstone Chewables 2500mg Calcium Citrate 1600mg (or is it mcg) Folic Acid 500mg Vitamin C w/my Iron 80-90g Protein Are these levels safe for preg? Is there anything I should change? I am not sure I am ovulating. Before surgery I was on Metformin for PCOS but after surgery my doc said I didn't need it anymore. I have been taking my BBT and I don't see any regular spike indicating ovulation. I go see an OB/GYN on Aug 5 who specializes in high risk. Of important note: I had a pulmonary embolsim (2 actually) about 10 days after surgery. I was re hospitalized and ended up taking warfarin for 7 months. I am no longer on this. Anybody else experience this? Any advice? I was advised I will be at a high risk for blood clots for life...especially during pregnancy due to high horomones. Thanks for your help!
