Hi all, it's been a long time since I've updated. Things have been

going downhill. After the stroke in January my vision is poor and I am

in the wheelchair about 90% of the time. I've been in the hospital

more than I've been home. My pulmonary function has taken a big hit

and now I'm on noninvasive ventilation about 18 hours a day, the rest

on O2. My seizures are finally under control but I still can't be

alone at all, I need PCA's or family support 24/7. I'm still on TPN

and I had an infected gall bladder but wasn't strong enough to have it

removed so they put a drain in it.

So, that's the crappy medical stuff. What I need is diversion! I'm

bored, need to find something new to do, chat on line or on the phone,

watch some movies, something! So if anyone has a minute, please give a

call or drop a line. I need to keep my brain from getting mushy. My

home phone's . I'd love to chat!

Heidi

I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time with your mito. It

sounds like you still have your mind and heart, and these are your

real strength.

You will be in my thoughts.

Hugs,

laurie

Hi, Heidi, I would love to chat with you by e mail. I

too had a stroke. But with rehabilitation I made it

out ok. Sorry to hear of your plight. But hopefully we

can become chat friends.
