Keep up on the reflux meds please!

Just wanted to share a recent experience with you all. Colin's

insurance wouldn't pay for the Prilosec one month so we got stuck

with the OTC version of the drug. It does not work nearly as well

because it doesn't dissolve in the bicarb solution & it isn't as

strong. His eating was HORRIBLE for 3 weeks and he was not happy.

Anyway, we got him back on the Prilosec and within 3 days he was

asking for food and eating again. It is so important to keep up on

their reflux meds. It really proved to us how important his Prilosec

in relation to his interest in and comfort with eating.
