Guest guest
Hi again, i know what you mean about the neck muscles, alot of time i will get headaches from trying to hold my head up when my neck hurts. Sometimes the muscle get so fatigued that i get spasms, do you experience that, i take Baclofen for spasms and it really helps. But when my neck muscles just ache, i take over the counter pain reliever like Tylenol, and i use a heating pad for relief also. I also wondered why no one uses the chat room here. I guess because everyone gets together for the MDA chat. I wouldnt mind having a chat time daily at the chat room provide on this group. hugs, Barb
Guest guest
I have done Yoga for a long time now, but watch it ... i started a new group of poses on Saturday, and I've been struggling since. Anything for me with a hip component is out, and I have to be soooo gentle with my neck it is not funny ... So, yoga = good but start slowly and add little by little and listen to your body. Don't do anything you cannot easily get out of without hurting yourself!! Yoga has made all the difference in the world but i suspect the routine would be as individual as we all are on this list ... my thoughts and well wishes are with our hopital buddies, those in and those going in. I hope we can be of small comfort in a big cold place ... Guest guest
Laurie gave a great answer. Thanks, Laurie. There is a chat room for us here on Mitoldies which any of you can enter if you know your yahoo password. You are free to set up a chat session and see how many join you. It would be helpful to us as moderators if those of you who wish to chat at different times of the day went ahead and planned this on your own. This chatroom is available 24/7. The address for the chat room is: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/ /chat Alice > > Hi Laurie, I and another person Barbara also asked why > > no chatters in the chat group.
