Hi all I found you by chance of searching for answers for my own son. I am not

sure what problem we are facing with our 1 yr old (1/3/03) but my husband and I

are going to see a specialist on Friday. I decided to do soem digging before I

go so I will have soem knowledge just in case.

When I was pregnant with him, later in the term my Fundal growth had slowed

significantly, at 37 weeks I was measuring at only 33cm (the numbers are

supposed to match or be closer than 4 cm apart) They did an ultrasound and

although he wasn't listed as IUGR (perfect weight and measurements) his femure

bones were much smaller than average. He was measuring at 28 weeks in leg

growth. Docs were not alarmed because arms were measuring normal.

When he was born he was a healthy 7lb 5oz and 19.6 inches. Over the next 3 1/2

months he was right on target on the 25-50%. At around 5 months I took him in

for Silent Reflux for meds. (not throwing up, but he was choking alot and

having difficulty swallowing) He was doing well, but losing weight and not

growing in length. He is now well below the 3% line at 17 lb 1 oz, and 26 1/2

inches. The reflux has cleared up no meds for that

He has gained very little since his 4 month less than 3 pounds, and his lenght

has increased by 1 1/2 inches.

HIs head has me concerned.....While he is not growing in length and weight as he

was before, his head has jumped two percentiles, from the 25% to the 75%.....

I am extremely worried...Any info is greatly appreciated. I am a 27 yr old mom

of two boys 4 yr old , and Mathieu my little tiger 1 yr old just recently.

TIA,

Jay
