Guest guest
Dear Ms. , Welcome to the wonderful world of RSS. Jen is right, if your daughter isn't on an appetite stimulant, than natural hunger is few and far between with our kids. It's all about the stomach and gut's ability to digest and absorb the food. Our kids can take up to 8x longer to process a meal than the average child. Thus the need for appetite stimulants and various therapies to address eating issues. I haven't seen you post before. How old is your daughter? WHat are here medical treatments right now. On a positive note for you, good job catching something early before it becomes a bigger problem. Dr. H. has been quoted as saying that the ability of an RSS child to eat is 50% the parent and 50% the kid. IF they are balking, you're going to need help. Let us know what we can do! Our prayers are with you. Mom to Graham 7, Cameron 4; Connor 16 months IUGR SGA/RSS?
