Guest guest
Hi everyone! My name is a and I just rejoined this group. I was a member a few months ago but left because I am still waiting for my surgery to be scheduled. Next week, I will be having my 4th of 6 required appointments with my doctor to qualify for the surgery. I have PCOS and we have been ttc for 2 years so far prior to deciding on the surgery. I got scared and told dh I was afraid to try after the surgery so this will be our last month trying before the surgery is scheduled. Hopefully, my doctor will get approval next month and I can schedule it in September...unless of course we get pg. Right now I am on 150mgs of clomid (2nd month on clomid, first month on 150mgs), 1000mgs of metformin and iron, since I am already anemic. We lost our first child at 23.5 weeks pg and that is why we are scared to try again after the surgery. I am supposed to start the clomid today, but I want this surgery SOOOOO badly. I am so torn because I know my family isn't complete, but I think if I get pg now, I probably will never have the surgery. Whew!! I am just hoping you guys can let me know how your pgs are going and if you would recommend getting pg first or waiting until after the surgery. I know it doesn't matter, because it will happen when it happens, but I am scared to death to see that negative this month. I was so sure I would get pg on my first month of clomid and was absolutely devastated. If I get pg this month, the baby will be due the day after my first child passed away. So, this is obviously an emotional decision, but your stories and experiences would help me greatly!! Thanks sooo much:) Love, a
