Hello. I have a hard time keeping track with my email now days...so forgive

me if this was recently discussed.

Does anyone else's children need EXTRA wide shoes? Not just plain wide, but

extra wide? I am having a hard time finding shoes for Kaitlin..not to mention

that she currently wears a 1/2 size, which is difficult enough to find in

baby shoes..lol

I know that stride rite makes half sizes and extra wide, but most of their

shoes that come in those sizes are not very cute, not to mention expensive and

hard to find in stock anywhere in the right size. At this point I would settle

for a size too big, but I don't want her shoes to interfere with her walking.

We went to every shoe store or store that sells shoes in the largest mall

around and also Payless, also checked Darling baby shoes online...no luck.

I am looking to get her some sandals for the summer and also some dress shoes

for a wedding this summer.

I am stumped and also wondering if this will last forever...they don't make

adult shoes in extra wide do they? I have only ever seen the wide versions...

This is so strange, because Kaitlin is very petite and it is not just her

clubfoot that is extra wide, its both, although her clubfoot is probably extra,

extra wide...lol, sigh...

Any suggestions or ideas would be great.

Also I have tried the velcro sandals in wide already..but the velcro barely

reaches across the toes, I know that it won't hold enough for her to walk with

it that way.

Hopefully someone here knows the answer or has a suggestion...maybe a pattern

so I could make my own shoes??? ;-)

Any ideas???

Sincerely Stumped,

Freeman
