Guest guest
We received permission from Dr. H and the pharmacist to COMBINE the Periactin and Zantac at dosage time. I bought these tiny Tupperware cups (look like the small Dixie cups and have blue lids) and we put the meds in and then pour a small amount of purple grape juice in on top (Zantac doesn't taste very well, as many of you may know....). knows these as her " energy drink " and the kids do NOT get purple grape juice at any other time. If my son wants one, he gets plain grape juice. Especially with afternoon activities and dinners out, these cups work great because I can premix the stuff, put it in a small ziplock bag (in case of leakage) and bam, ready to go 45 minutes before dinner. > > I'm just wondering how we go about spacing out the meds now that > we've added the Cyproheptadine (periactin).
